Shoulderpads, mullet hems and acres of taffeta... Diana's most iconic Eighties fashion moments remembered in new exhibition

A priceless collection of the late Princess Diana's most prized possessions are being put on display for the first time.
Thousands of items, from evening gowns, heirlooms and personal accessories, to photographs, letters and designer sketches, will be showcased in Diana: Legacy of a Princess, in Long Beach, California.
The exhibition, set to open June 16, is on the historic ship The Queen Mary, and also includes a garden bench that was a wedding gift for Prince Charles and the late Princess, as well as cherished pieces from other members of the Royal family too.
