Mr Kneen explained how the retail giant tackled the task of translating Anna Karenina into today's more modern aesthetic.
He said: 'The capsule is comprised of polished feminine looks for her and strong modern styles for him, reflecting the film’s period while translating it in a way that is wearable for today’s modern customer.
'[We] channeled luxuries of the era such as intricate detailing and fine materials into modern items with touches of faux fur, jewels, and other elements.'

While Mr Kneen has a clear favourite look from the collection - 'The black faux fur hat with our little black dress is such a modern way to interpret Anna Karenina, which I love!' - for those unsure how to capture the period's aesthetic without looking like they have gone overboard, the creative director has a few tips.
He said: 'This capsule is really about taking key elements of the Anna Karenina time period - sophisticated fabrics and beautiful detailing - and translating that into an updated wardrobe. Small touches such as lace and fur embellishments portray a classic sense of luxury without requiring a full look that may feel “costumey.'
Star portrayal: Keira Knightley, above, plays Anna in the new adaptation and inspired the line's jewellery
He added: 'Even if incorporating vintage pieces, you shouldn’t don a full 19th Century look. Instead, mix and match with more modern pieces to keep it current.
'Jacqueline gave us great insight that the costumes often included pearls and diamonds. What girl doesn’t love that? Layer on the jewelry and you’re done!'
