Less than two days earlier, pregnant Reese Witherspoon arrived in Cannes after enduring a 14 hour long-haul flight from Los Angeles.
But despite the uncomfortable combination of flying while pregnant, the Oscar winner, 36, insisted she was feeling 'great' after touching down on the French Riviera.
At the film festival to promote her new film Mud, the mother-of-two showed she wasn't ready for the maternity wear just yet as she showcased her growing bump in a little black dress.

Arriving at a photocall on Saturday morning, Reese went to sit down, but the world's photographers shouted at her to stand up so they could see her belly in all its glory.
She was attending a photocall with co-stars Matthew McConaughey, Jacob Lofland and Tye Sheridan ahead of the film's premiere later tonight.
Currently in her second trimester, the actress admitted her pregnancy wasn't slowing her down.

She told Us Weekly magazine: 'The flight over was actually pretty good. I feel great.
'I'm excited about showing the movie. The energy here is great.'
After flying into nearby Nice airport on Thursday, Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth quietly attended the latter part of the dinner for Nicole Kidman's new film The Paperboy.

Mud is a drama about two teenage boys who encounter a fugitive and decide to help hide him from the bounty hunters seeking him and to reunite him with his true love (Witherspoon).
The film's writer and director Jeff Nichols hailed Witherspoon for her small role in the movie.
He said: 'I needed Reese Witherspoon. Even if her screen time is limited and, bless her heart, I kept her in a motel room most of the time, she still managed to look good. And you have this man (McConaughey) talking about her the whole time.

Catching up: Witherspoon was spotted chatting to McConaughey before the photocall
'I needed someone who, when she showed up, it was like SHE'S HERE!. She had to be believable and stand out at the same time.'
Witherspoon and husband Toth - who she wed in March 2011 after a one year courtship - are expecting their first child together in the autumn. She already has two children Ava and Deacon from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe.
