It's Tesco's girls, but not as you know it! FEMAIL gets a sneak peek at next season's F&F collection – and it's SERIOUSLY supermarket chic

Fashion is a fickle beast. While most of us average Joannas are just about getting used to the notion of opaque tights and winter coats, the fashion brands have already moved on, and as we speak are toiling away in preparation for next season.

In fact, the high street stores and designer brands held their spring/summer press days last week - meaning the magazine and newspaper fashion editors had a chance to check out the collections way ahead of them going on sale next February or March.

The glossies start shooting the clothes now ready for the fashion pages of their early 2013 issues - so the store must have the garments ready to be called in.

And we can exclusively reveal that next summer's F&F collection at Tesco will be a feast for the fashion-conscious. 

Fabrics are quality and varied: Think weighty poplin, jacquard and broderie anglaise side by side with silks and sequins.

Prints are bold and bright, and shapes are shapes are contemporary - with some having the air of having just twirled off the catwalk.
